Play Countless Hours on your Xbox 360 with the BioShock Game
Many reviewers have given it a two thumbs up, some say its a five star game, some have even gone to give it a perfect ten for ten, so undoubtedly, the BioShock, a first person shooter game, may go down in the annals of gaming history as one of the best, if not the best game ever developed for the Microsoft Xbox 360.
As numerous games are being developed today, rarely will you see one that has ultimately combined great game play, a fantastic storyline, amazing graphics, while keeping you immersed in the game. BioShock has effectively combined all of these aspects and one would certainly be a great addition to the library of any Xbox 360 owner.
BioShock though is a single player game. Your character is a plane crash survivor that lands in a mysterious underwater city called Rapture. Rapture was an experimental community developed in the fifties of the last century where people lived peacefully. Unfortunately though, greed and drugs have turned the people into monsters.
Many games have been unable to construct a fluid combination of game play and the storyline. You have to stop the game play and wait for the storyline to finish before continuing action. With BioShock, the story is told while the game is being played. This is done through interaction with other characters and through the radio. Audio tapes are also hidden in different stages and finding them can help you uncover the mysteries of the story.
Game play is very impressive. Your character gets to develop itself as the game continues through picking up weapons and gaining special powers by finding tonics and plasmids. Your abilities will also be developed allowing you to progress along and finish the game. With the numerous options and features available, you’ll never get bored with the game.
One important aspect in the game is to develop your hacking skills. Being able to hack the robots, vending machines and security cameras will allow you to build up your character, health and your overall success in the game.
Recognizing what type of enemy you encounter is also important for your survival. Known as the Splicers, the monsters occupying Rapture have different abilities and you need to know the right type of weapons to use against them. There are also the Big Daddies which can be very difficult to fight. But sometimes, using your plasmid, you can use them to aid you.
All in all, BioShock is a game that certainly doesn’t disappoint. Its all around qualities make it truly a favorite for many Xbox 360 players.
