In the game, you will be able to travel through three cities, which are Acre, Damascus and Jerusalem. You can even go to Masyaf, which is the stronghold of the Hashashins.

The great thing about this game is the interactive environment in the cities you go into. It is populated and you will be able to interact with the people. For example, if you attack a citizen, the people may unite and rise up against the character you are playing. This will also attract the guard and you will need to find a way to hide the character.

Another great interactive feature is that when the character you are controlling climbs a wall, people may gather around the area which will attract attention.

The game is very realistic and accurate in terms of history. The buildings as well as the city models are designed intricately making you feel as if you are living in the time of the Crusades.

This game is played as a third person stealth game where you control the assassin named Altair. The primary goal is to use stealth and other tactics used by assassins to assassinate the nine targets. You will also perform numerous missions, such as eavesdropping, interrogation and even pick pocketing information in order for you to get information as to the whereabouts of your would-be targets and how you can assassinate them effectively and without arousing suspicion of your enemies.
